Creating innovative tourism products
I've created and launched innovative tourism experiences of my own with critical and audience acclaim. My drive and motivation lies in devising new ideas and bringing them to market.
I pride myself on taking measured risks, accepting that failures are part of the learning process and creating memorable and repeatable experiences.

Marketing and Branding
"I don't see Dominic as a marketeer, I see him as an innovator"
- Paul Sherry
Board Member Go New Forest & New Forest Business Partnership
As well as helping brands and companies develop innovative experiences, I also create my own. I always start by looking at the market and identifying where the gaps are. The below are my own projects.
Bournemouth Writing festival
Festival organiser and co-founder
GOLD winner of Festival / Tourism Event of the Year at the 2025 Dorset Tourism Awards.
Three days of 100 talks, walks, workshops, literary agents, activities and panels from a range of authors and writing professionals to inspire writers at all stages of their writing journey.
Now includes a year-round series of events and activities, including the Romance Writing Festival.
Inspired by my novels, I really want to foster a writing community in Dorset.
BoRo Theatrical Experiences
In 2025, I co-created a musical theatre visitor attraction with Barker Langham - a designer of visitor attractions around the world.
We are currently seeking investors to help us get the concept off the ground.

BoRo Beach Bike
"Coolest thing to do in the UK" - The Independent, August 2018
Launched on the Isle of Wight in 2018, the 17-seater beach bike changed the dynamics of the traditional "beer bike" product to cater for a younger and old audience.
Sunrise, sunset, fitness, afternoon tea, pizza parties, Princess Storytelling and even Speed Dating were some of the rides that went along Ryde's seafront. Perfect to cater to different audiences and to allow people to explore more of your grounds.

A Right Royale Tea
"An absolutely spiffingly entertaining way to enjoy afternoon tea" - Love London, Love Culture
This comedy dining afternoon tea dining experience launched in London in 2019 at the Amba Hotel Charing Cross for a 10 week run.
A very British farce with a hint of Downton Abbey and Upstairs Downstairs, diners joined the fictional Lord and Lady Right for an afternoon tea of pomp, 1920s elegance and a stiff upper-lip.

Mamma Mia 2 Spectacular
"The most fun I've had here in twenty years" - Regent Centre Volunteer
The sold-out event held at the Regent Centre Christchurch, was a premium priced experience that combined sponsored food and drink, a warm-up act, a live ABBA tribute band and 70s decorations to provide an experience never seen before at the independent cinema/theatre. Patrons were encouraged to dress up and they made a huge effort.

Beach Walk and Talk
"One of the best business networking events I have ever been to" - Matt Williams
A free networking meet-up, the Bournemouth Beach Walk and Talk encourages entrepreneurs, small business owners and self-employed to get out into the sea breeze and fresh air of Bournemouths' beautiful beaches to discuss their business challenges, successes and journeys. I started the group in 2017.
